For well over two decades I’ve helped support my career as a documentary filmmaker by making verite-style wedding videos. I never tire of them as it’s fascinating and deeply moving to be a fly-on-the-wall as a couple experiences one of the most memorable days of their lives. As you can probably imagine, I long wondered how these marriages have turned out, and for 112 Weddings I revisited nine representative couples whose wedding stood out in my memory and channeled my curiosity into a feature documentary. I’ll just say that the results exceeded all of my expectations.

– Marc Glassman, POV MAGAZINE
“Simple in execution, but unmistakably rich in dialogue of the complexities of married life, Doug Block has lensed a wonderfully playful, startlingly tragic film that will surely move anyone who’s ever been in love and question anyone considering marriage themselves.”
– Jordan M. Smith, IONCINEMA
